Officer Training Reading List

Below are links to several books that are required reading for the Officer Training Classes at Southwood. Each week there will be sections from selected books that are covered in the Fall class. In an effort to make the class more profitable and digestible for attendees this list is being made available in advance of the class. Some of the works are more narrative in style (such as 'We Would See Jesus') and others are more reference in nature (such as 'The Westminster Confession of Faith'). All of the reading is important and germane to the class, so we're suggesting that you choose one of the narrative type books to go through at a time while concurrently reading sections of the three which are more theological in nature. Classes will begin in August on Wednesday Evenings.
