Women's Small Groups

Small Groups

Discipleship Groups

These groups are designed to help women grow in their faith and share it with others and usually consist of three to four women who meet weekly for 18-24 months for teaching, accountability, prayer and evangelism. (The curriculum is designed to help women grow in spiritual disciplines such as quiet times, prayer, Bible study, and scripture memory.) Contact Susan Lynch, 830-1363 or Gail Kimrey, 882-9145.

Morning Edition

Morning Edition meets in the Fellowship Hall on Thursdays at 9:15 a.m. from August to April with nursery provided as well as a Bible Class for three and four year olds.
Contact Debbie Jones, 489-4904.

Evening Edition

Evening Edition meets in The Lodge on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. from August to April. Contact Debbie Jones, 489-4904.

Bible Studies

At Southwood, one of our focus environments is small groups, where we feel you can best grow as a believer. We realize that at times you may not be able to participate in a small group because of your schedule or other issues. Because of this, we offer other Bible Studies at different times during the year which are listed below.

Twentysomething

Twentysomething meets in one of our Southwood homes and is designed for younger women who want to meet and fellowship with others in their stage of life.
Contact Charlotte Woo, 883-9370.

Summer Studies

A variety of studies meeting in church members’ homes is offered each summer. For Summer 2010, Teri McQuinn will be sponsoring the studies in her home.
